A US based company called Athena Security has come up with a camera system solution that helps prevent crime. A camera system powered with Artificial Intelligence, this hi-tech smart camera and alarm system can detect weapons like- knifes, pistols, guns etc. and raise alerts on time.
The system not only alerts the cops but also raises alert at the crime scene, thus alarming and scaring off the criminal about being caught and captured on screen. The system also sends across the details of the exact crime scene to help out the cops reach the location.
The company claims that their security system has accuracy levels as high as 99 percent!
The system is offered on per month per camera basis, starting as low as $25.
I hope systems like these would be great help to our society which is plagued by day-light robberies and crime incidents.

All the conventional cameras only record the video but this will also create an alert so other can be notified. This way the authorities will be present to grab the intruder.
