Researchers at MIT's Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory have come up with a unique AI concept where a computer-aided knitting system that can automate the designing and manufacturing of knitted garments like- gloves, socks, hats etc.
With the in-built set of templates, people who have no to limited knowledge about knitting can easily create high quality designs and print knitted material with patterns.

So I guess this is like a 2nd industrial revolution. We oly had machines to make clothes & wool. Now we can finish the full product with machines that use AI. Things will become cheaper and more small scale businesses can b started with this technology. The samples look pretty good

That's a cool idea. Garments industry needs to produce a huge amount of this product. I think this can make their work easy and will make it more efficient. Nice find!
