can read both physical books and screen text
face recognition is a winner
the data of family/ friends is a plus, persons using the device can "remember" more than an average person.

cons:

can the reading of text be saved as mp3?
security concern for data of family/ friends stored in the device: is there protection, or anyone picking up the device can access these info?

Pros :

visually impared people can now see with clarity, making their lives more easier
has face identification feature in real time
it responds to simple gestures
it can identify products as it comes with database of millions of product bar codes and stores up to 150 of your favorite product

Cons :

It is expensive but worth it for such incredible technology

Pros:

Makes it easy for someone to detect a person's face
The shape is attractive and small so it becomes light to wear
Has enough memory to store favorite photo objects
There is a currency detection sensor, so people who wear it will be easier in the process of buying and selling

Cons:

The selling rate will be low due to the expensive price factor

Pros:

Say goodbye to the conventional way of conveying messages to through morse codes. This is definitely more convenient since not all blind people arent fortunate enough to learn how to read morse codes
This really promotes social interaction for blind people since facial recognition is already embedded. No need to ask about who the person is all the time

Cons:

Not really sure about the part:

The device actually picks up the places where your finger points to and uses the camera to take a picture of the text

How can a blind person know what he is pointing out if he cant see anything?

Sure, it can be very expensive considering the technology that it can give. Lucky are those who will be able to afford this one

For a totally blind person, it is difficult to point but for those who are slightly visually impaired, they can. Hey new thought, maybe good for seniors.

small, practical device
magnetic clip for easy manipulation
practical AI usage
for visually impaired persons
storage of important persons info

Cons:

very expensive device
probably slow learning curve because of apps (person info, photo recognition) stored there

Conclusion:
A very useful, state of the art device, but very expensive, everyone who needs it will not be able to afford it.

This is awesome!

Pros:

Visually impaired person can now be more like a normal person
No more Braille!

Cons:

Not a con. But an improvement. Future features to include better AI to analyze the surroundings. So that a person can wear this and go out onto the street and walk safely.

Pros:

It gives opportunity to the impaired people to see clearly what the world looks like, I’m pretty sure they are really eager to
It is a multi purpose function device which includes a camera, a speaker and a battery power that connects to the internet
Face recognition is really awesome!
It is equipped with AI tools which let the device be enable to identify faces in real time

Cons:

Kind of expensive really though reasonable enough since this gadget offers a well needed features for people

cons:

very expensive, considering there are tons of audio ebooks / e-readers available for a price of next to nothing.
face detection only for new acquaintances, you will know the voice of family and friends by their voice.

Pros :

A great technology for your eyes giving you a more fascinating look
A good way to be an artificial vision device that totally assist people who are blind
It can help you recognize faces, products and even money notes in real time
It can even read any font type and size which can really a big help
Its gonna be a good bye to walking sticks

This device is a dream come true for the visually impaired. I am sure that in future updated versions of this device, enhancements will come in the form of 'situational awareness' from a personal Lidar so that the wearer can move about more confidently without walking aids and minimize untoward incidents.

Pros:

Lightweight and 'regular' looking so that the wearer need not feel self-concious
Text to sound conversion is brilliant!
Facial recognition will lead to a significant improvement in the quality of life
Identification of currencies and shopping items will be huge conveniences

Cons:

Not priced for mass adoption yet

Pros :

It can recognize upto 100 faces, name a person, recognize money and products right away

These are really interesting, I think I would be interested even though I wasn't visually impaired (I wear glasses though). I like the idea of having information being processed through to me, I can't wait for this sort of technology to become universal.

This is really a "cool" item! Very rare.

Pros :

a device that reads and talk is an incredible gadget specially for visually impaired person like me, i need that product too.
a gadget that can memorized faces is really awesome too!
i give 5 star for this amazing gadget.

Cons :
With a price of $4,500 its really fit for the amazing gadget, but not affordable to some visually impaired person.

Pros:

First of all giving the needy ones the ability to see things around them is in itself a great thing.
Light, small and very easy to use on glasses.
Connectivity with a smartphone and internet as well.
Ability to speak text on any kind of material.
Has memory which helps in recognizing faces and money, etc.
Enough memory to include enough people in there.

Cons:

With the features that it provides I'm not bothered about the price tag that it carries. So no cons for me.

Again the same problem... These devices are so big and practically no meaning to use. Google's Glass had the same problem and then the project was cancelled.

The closest product to the real world applications was belong to Intel. It was indistinguishable from a regular glass. I hope they continue to the project!
