There is a lot of waste plastic in the world, these plastics pollute our environment and our seas. It's really great to make these plastics reusable, and we'll clean our environment and make use of them. Sculpted is a recycling machine that recycles waste plastics and converts them into plastic ink cartridges used in 3D printers. They developed a great product, so you can clean your environment from plastics and get 3D objects from these plastics.

How it works:
First, Ha’apai will collect, sort and clean the existing plastics on the island. Next a plastic shredder turns the cleaned and sorted plastics into small granules. The small granules are melted into plastic ink cartridges that can then be used to print material using the 3-D printer. Presto! Almost like magic.

Hi @rtonline,

Thanks for yourhunt but the hunt’s (short) description isn’t related to the crowdfunding campaign. The product offered is not the printer.

Please correct and let me know via a comment reply when requested change has been made.

Hi @fknmayhem

Thank you for warning me. I've changed it, can you check it again?

Thanks, approved.

This is fantastic. One of the unanswered questions I've had about 3D printing, is how environmentally friendly it is - in the materials used, and resulting "printed" output.

So, for me, this is a real breath of fresh air in the space. Obviously, as you're using, and recycling plastics, the output you'll produce is plastic. But, and it's a big but, you're not creating anything new - you're taking away from landfill, and increasingly the oceans and our water supplies.

It then becomes more of a conversation about what you're producing - something to last, or something to use once and throw away. That's where we need to change the most.

Ouuhh...it's so awesome hunt
I love this concept. Change plastic waste into plastic ink. Environmental friendly and recyclable.

I love green ideas and this eco-friendly printer is great!😁🌱💗👏👏

Congratulations!
