Expected from a Utopian! :) Cheers, read my honest reviews.

Pros:

7Zip is an Open Source application made for Windows and also available for Linux
It is easy to use
Their website has no advertisements, you dont have to click any ads before you download unlike other download servers
It Supports different types of Compressed files. Best example would be .zip/.rar I think 7zip also supports .ISO

Cons:

The application is for Compressing and unpacking compressed files. There will be no negative cons available to this Open source application.

Hi, @ruah I'm a fan of 7-ZIP too 7-ZIP and Winrar both this freeware is really useful apps.
If you look at the interface of the two apps you'll notice that they are almost similar.

Pros:

The 7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio.
The 7-Zip can use on any computer.
Self-extracting capability for 7z format.

Cons:

Non for this powerful file manager.

The software is open source which makes it easy for contributions from the community
Better ratio than other services like WinRAR

Wow! I just knew these details though I have used it already before.
Pros:

It encrypts with a very strong 256-AES in 7z and ZIP formats.
It is quite easy to use, even beginners will face no challenges when making use of its basic features.
It can unpack all formats it compresses, alongside other formats like CAB, ARJ, DEB, DMG, CHM, and CPIO.
It comes with several advance options such as the capability to create self-extracting 7Z files, and you can also add a password protection to compress the files.
It is free to download, install and use.

To bo honest, really nothing much to comment on this wonderful software that I use almost everyday

Pros:

Free!
Works for almost all types and formats that I work with
Small footprint, takes up very little resource
Ads free!

Cons:

Not a con for me, but might be for some people. The UI could be slightly better and rich.

Pros:

Good option to unzip files
Supports various compressed file formats
It has its own compression format.
Available for a variety of platforms
It has several languages

Cons:

There are one or two better options than this program to unzip files.

This is such a wonderful hunt man @ruah!
By the way, here are my thoughts as user of this great application:

Pros:

Easy to download application.
Fast and reliable compression of files.
In my work, this is the number one application we use in opening archived and compressed files.
As per my experience, great alternative to winrar.

Cons:
None for this amazing software. Many are using this software both for personal and commercial use.

Wow! That compression capacity is pretty much huge!

Pros:

Since it is open-source, it is absolutely free and open for any customization
It supports a wide variety of files! Amazing!
Compatible with different Operating System versions. Great!

Cons:

I see no cons for this since it is completely free and easy to install

Pros:

Hi @ruah, i am using that personally too and it really works perfectly. Below are my reviews on this amazing software that you have shared to us.

Cons :

Free and open source software which means anyone can use them for free for this application is being licensed under GNU LGPLv2.1+
Just like other compressed tool, it can heavily compressed files to its minimal file size. Even it can compressed multiple files in a very much faster process.
Aside from compression of the files, you have also the option to put password into your compressed file to make it more secure and protected from any authorized users.
You can even backup data files within removable storage device.
You can even execute command line compressing using its command line interface
Better and friendly user interface
Supports major platforms with the likes of Windows, Linux, MacOS and many others
It has support on multi-language

Cons :

Sometimes hang up if you mistakenly process two or more running compression but it does rarely happen

yes, it really deserve a good product software review since it is one of the best application that i am using at work. I think it happens to some release versions but i think they have resolved them on their latest version, since i am still using old version right now. Anyway, it is still safe to do one at a time compression.
