It's also known as a Ask Jeeves. This is the popular search engine in internet. It is based on question/answer format.
And you can say that it is a platform there most question answered by other users.
Ask.com has general search functionality but results returned lack quality compared to Google or Bing seraph engines.

Wow. This thing is actually alive. It's been some years since I even heard the search engine being mentioned. It's nice to see something nostalgic. I'm no fan of Google. Hope this ancient one would erode a least a few percentage points of Google search.

I have used this search engine before and yeah it is quite good in terms of search results as compared to other search engines. Google and other engines are sometimes not good with those questions we require in the search bar, this idea is better to get access to thousands of questions already saved up by the search engine.

I have been using this since i was in high school. So this is really quite old and not so interesting tho. But still congrats for this search engine offers an asking question that would really helped you a lot specifically to what is asked for.

This search is closely related to quora. Although the quality may not be as good as that of google at least you still get a live response and not some response that has been outdated. Nice hunt

This is likely similar to google but i've encounter this years ago and my spec on my PC that time is Pentium. You can search anything you like and i think this is one of the oldest search engine.

i used it very long time ago, feeling happy to see still its exists. i used to use it , that time yahoo was popular, i started journey of the internet from opera mini mobile browser 0.3 version, there also it was available , and ask serach engine used to use well , that time google search engine was not popular .
yahoo , wikipedia was in trend that time.
