There is no need for you to start disposing and buying a new mask. This mask when removed after use undergoes self sterilization all by itself using ultraviolet light. The mask is good for this time of pandemic or for epidemiologist whose life is always at risk of infection.
Sterilisation activates when the mask is taken off and rested. The filter housing built into the Leaf UV is rechargeable. One charge goes for up too 1 week or 15 sterilisations (whichever comes early). Source

I like how high tech this mask is - but it does look a little weird. I think it''s all the clear plastic that goes over the nose and mouth. I can't get used to mask wearing - it looks strange and I wish we didn't have to bother with them.
