the worlds of streaming and crypto. .
.. are meeting faster than i expected them to be i have to admin but i'm glad that they are getting some coverage because things happen fast when you have an audience that sits and watches your show for hours on end -- this can only be good for crypto currency awareness.
once streamers and gamers understand that you can earn crypto currency on platforms like steem then we should start to see streamers flock from platforms like youtube and twitch to platforms that pay you out in 7 days instead of a month like adsense does -- that's HUGE for a gamer and creator of streams.
By using Twitch/YouTube, StreamLabs/StreamElements & Coinbase/Nanex APIs we make it easy for you to accept Cryptocurrency donations! We can help you get setup in minutes no matter how much you know or don't know about Cryptocurrencies!

yea, short term for sure but I really hope dlive becomes as big as twitch today in the coming years.

if they keep doing updates like they do then it will certainly be one of the best decentralized ones -- i don't think it will be as big as twitch if i'm honest mainly because of them having early mover advantage and the relationships they already have (amazon etc) -- but hey who knows, even if it's just a on a parr with them that's good enough for me! :)

yea, I guess you are right. We'll see how it turns out but for now it's definitely improving at a fast rate.

speed and features can't replace 'first mover advantage' just the way these things work. lots of vested interests in keeping them where they are but what dlive/dtube can do for the steem blockchain is epic.

yea, I mean they are rolling out updates every 2 weeks or even more frequently. They are getting closer and closer to offer features we are used to on other sites. The update today rolled out requests which is just a huge deal and it will allow better and better content to be crated and more interactions with viewers. Really excited about everything is going on the steem blockchain.

sure. i get that. excited energy.
thing is at the moment, they have the early mover advantage, they have the parters, they have the traffic, they have applications that hook into twitch, it's just matured -- that's not to say that dlive and dtube don't have a great future ahead because let's be honest once people realise they can earn for their content and streams in a decentralized way they are gonna come running! :)
