i had no idea that a platform like this existed but it makes sense right because alternative games must have a home to go somewhere? well it appears itch.io is that home -- you will find the most abstract, wild, interesting and reasonably priced games here and a downloader for mac, pc and linux.
it kinda reminds me of the steam gaming interface, they have done a really neat job with it. a definate try out today! :)

Really cool site. Like you said it also reminds me strongly of Steam. Browsing through the games I really can say there is a game for pretty much everybody. The certainly offer nearly 117,000 different games and also cover literally every device, Windows, Mac and Linux also iOS and Android and finally they too over a bunch of web games. Checking I saw nearly 111,000 games out of the 117,000 games are actually free to play!

This platform is complete package of fun experience of indie games. There are so many games that are just so innovative and are fun too. Lots of good games to download for free / paid .
