i'm kinda digging the styling on this, looks very similar to me to the logitech k-series of keyboards but i've not heard of lofree before but they seem to be doing ok if people are dropping $150 on one -- that sounds over priced too me because you can get a decent logitech k for around $50.

now i know these have mechanical switches but i'm wondering if they are the super noisy type OR people like them because they make a 'tap' retro sounding like a keyboard.

they suggest if you like the apple wireless (which i use and love) then you can switch easily, i just don't know if the key height and return is too much for me.

does anyone have one of these? i'd love to know what you think of it, i'd certainly like to test one out to see if i could get alone with it, if for nothing else that my G key is missing! :)

Pros:

  • Apparently mechanical keyboards are better for RSI... like the typing pools of decades ago.
  • They all look super cool... the design here is awesome.
  • Option for wireless and wired... I tend to go wired myself so devices don't go missing at crucial times.
  • IBM layout and Mac layouts available.

Cons:

  • I thought $150 was expensive, but honestly, that's what every new piece of tech costs these days. I bought a mouse recently for $99.
  • Not sure if I personally like the red spacebar on the black version...

Super glue and a scrabble tile ? ;-) Don't be stressing :-)
