look it does exactly what it says on the tin! do you have a local expression for something that's obvious? -- with the new 4k firetv stick costing only £50 having 802.11ac connectivity and just needing to be plugged into the hdmi port and usb for power (you need the £12 cable extra if you do that) then the streaming from computer to the stick seems like a good shortcut way to go if you just quickly wanna watch something from your machine.

don't forget you get great apps for netflix, twitch etc on the that firestick 4k as well, well worth a christmas present to friends!
