it's a hot race out there for the best stream platform, twitch has the early adopter advantage but mixer (which was renamed from beam and pickup by microsoft - don't hate this time around) is making some power moves let me tell you -- it's certainly the platforms i'll be cross streaming too -- mixer, twitch, dlive and youtube - those are my big four to stream at.
now your probably wondering why i'm mentioning this today and that's awesome because i wanna tell you about a few things that you should give mixer a look for..
multiple streams
one of the awesome things you can do on mixer is that you can show you can your friends on one page -- let's say you have four in your squad for fortnite, you can seem them all on your output stream, just a really neat thing for people watching -- also you can natively stream from your xbox straight into mixer easily.
ftl (faster than light) protocol
most live streaming has a lag, that's just the nature of RTMP streams, you have 'latency' between sending from your machine to the server and then redistributed out -- we have lots of servers in locations around the world and it's always best to pick the one next to you. if you are doing a live webinar and you take chat questions from the audience sometimes you can be as much as 10 to 20 seconds behind -- with ftl it's almost instant, it's crazy crazy fast, not all apps support it but you can get OBS compiled to do it and others natively support it.
stream interactivity
this is the big one for me and one of the reasons for this post, this is the big one in terms of where things are heading -- to be successful in digital media, whatever flavour you are into you are going to need a streaming component that allows you to do remote audience development to make your content stand out -- the world is literally your oyster if people can in real time ask questions, influence outcomes or even help you play the game together, yes you heard me right -- real interactivity with the stream, you can already build things and support for games is coming fast.
my aim is to always try to bring you the best quality links, i never use bid bots just to be in the top10 or for pure greed -- i love your pros/cons! :)

You can use bidbots for steemhunt? I thought that's prohibited.

That cleared it up for me, I vaguely remember reading a comment by Steemhunt's founders about people using bidbots to push their ranks up the leaderboard. I must have misinterpreted it.

well it was a big debate for a while if they should be supported or not, then we had different 'classes' of bidbots and it started to get hella messy so the jury is out for now. i'm sure it will be a topic revisited at some point.
