This tool helps with that. It will offer to rename and move files to a specified folder, and it even gives some filename suggestions by looking at the content and the pdf metadata.

this is kinda neat, a little dumb pdf management tool that runs on the command line. Gotta better than having lots of weirdly named pdf documents or them locked into of apple books or whatever that thing is called - import and find things quickly!
