let me tell you this, this is not the future. this is today, and it's gonna be tomorrow and the future from now on -- it started with mcdonalds and screens and ordering and before long it's gonna be 24/7 vending machines (like in japan) where you can get food around the clock served up by AI computers and just machines -- no humans, just machines, no love, no care -- just a formula, algorithm.

and you know what, you'll probably complain about that service too, because you know HUMAN, seriously thou, i can't wait for our robot overlords to serve me food, let's go! :)

I guess we will see so many developments like Spyce very soon, bad news for workers :( by the way, great hunt.

workers need to evolve. it's just the way of our species. time and tide wait for no man.

I must say I am looking forward to see more things like that. Cause the kitchen is one of the places which should be quite hygenic but I dont think its possible with humans. I would definitely prefer a restaurant with robots in the kitchen. Great Hunt!

yeah me too! :) maybe we can hack them to get the portion sizes up.

I love this. It's an exciting, new restaurant concept. I love how the technology is being used to help keep the cost of the meals down. That's the goal of technology, after all, to make things easier, cheaper, and more efficient for humans. By teaming up with Daniel Boulud, they also brought credibility into the project. He has a Michelin 2-Star restaurant, after all. Hope they find success in the venture and start building robotic kitchens in other restaurants.

right? i'm totally down for this fast in, clean, done, optimized. ... bring it on! :)

Yeah. Let the robots do the cooking, so the human chefs can focus on developing and perfecting their recipes.

im down with that SPYCE LIFE

I went once to Japan and as you said it's really incredible, how food vending machines are everywhere with food of excellent quality. And this seems great because, like in the factories, the process is improved and becomes more automated (and fast) without forgetting that we will be free of possible contamination caused by the lack of human attention.

Well done.

cute little well done thing! :) love that. cheers for the props.

Congratulations!
