if you are not using STEEMIFY on your IOS device yet you are totally missing out, like think about this -- notifications on your mobile phone for everything STEEM BLOCKCHAIN related and it works perfectly.
i tend to use it for catching up on things rather than my going to the steem blockchain all day, means i can jump in through the app and view the page and if i login i can easily comment right there, it certainly speeds up my day.
they are working on the android version of the app as we speak and so you can expect that to pop up soon (https://steemit.com/steemdev/@blockbrothers/59oyazu4) for a sneak peek of that version.
the guys are also massively contributing behind the scenes to the steem blockchain with their projects, releasing open source code like https://github.com/blockbrothers/nozzle for instance which is a minimal Python library for the Steem Blockchain.
if you are interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in any way you should certainly taking a look at the steem blockchain because it's a very active developer community and people are always willing to help -- i've had help building out a python script to pull back updates for my steemit ticker hardware that @dayleeo bought me at christmas.
