whatever side you stand on about elon musk i have to say that he really impresses me with his bravery and vision. the man is not human. but he is delivering some incredible technology to the world -- it's amazing to think we can put a raft of solar panels on our roofs or have solar tiles that feed into a battery which can then charge our car to be able to transport ourselves purely based on the suns rays. incredible.
i put a mention of a twitter below that really hit home for me how this stuff is actually changing peoples lives on a daily basis.

TODAY our solar roof generated 68 kWh. My house consumption was 25.8 kWh giving us a surplus of 42 kWh of energy. That's enough to charge a @Tesla Model 3 56%, good for 175 miles. That's just one day! This is the new #PuertoRico. #PowerWall2
if you have only just heard about the tesla powerwall for the first time i really suggest you take a read of the website, calculate how much power you actually use and consider working out how much power your house actually uses! :)

This sounds fantastic and would be awesome to own.
Cons:
Before an outlay of this amount of money I would need to research and understand the product's viability for me. With energy prices continuing to go up the product probably would pay for itself soon.
