boosted boards are back. ..

. .. and by the looks of it better than ever.

if you ever were in the market for a decent mode of portable transport you would not go wrong by taking a look at the $1k boosted board mini x -- sure you could pick up the mini s for cheaper but why would you do that when you get that extra range and speed?

sure it's only 2mph faster but double the range for like a few hundred bucks more? all day, all damn day, combine this with some kind of back carrying harness underneath your brand new backpack and you got that emergency transportation you always dreamed of when you were half baked or kind drunk for that 'night out, missed the last bus/train situation'

not that your like that but hey, you know, things happen. .

but don't take my word for it, check out the king of new york electrified boosted board MVP the one, the only casey neistat lay down how fricking cool you would look by being able to finally carry it out without stress. ..

oh and did i mention that this thing can even kinda deal with inclines a bit better because of the new motors, surely the time in v2 to GET INVOLVED! :)

Pros:

Less than half the price that the previous Boosted Board.
Easy to carry, easy to store, better handling, looks like a sweet ride.
Smaller makes it more maneuverable.

Cons:

The underside is quite bulky so it bends your hand down around to carry it that way.
If you want to use it all the time, you might need more than one as they recharge.

All in all, an incredible product. I hope everyone throws big money at Boosted so they keep innovating.

for real, i kinda agree with most of those points -- i'd probably make a harness for my back to carry it under a backpack if i was going down that road for one but i think i'm gonna go for the radrover as it's useful for me and my daughter.

Great inclusion dude! I watched Casey's video yesterday and was super excited! I don't live downtown anymore, but this would have been incredible when I did.

yeah, fire little board. i'm torn between getting the board or the radrover bike. i think the bike is gonna be better for what i need in the short term.

I love the design and its price sounds reasonable to me.
The problem is I don't know how to ride skateboard... lol

Hahaha, it's never too late to learn... these boards are much, much easier than a normal skateboard... you just jump on and control the speed with the controller...
