A nearly fully-formed human brain has been grown in a lab for the first time ever

according to scientists from Ohio State University -- though having not yet passed peer review, other scientists remain skeptical.

The miniature, pencil eraser-sized organ is comparable with that of a five-week-old-foetus -- although it isn't conscious -- and was created from reprogrammed adult human skin cells.

read the rest of the article and decide what side of the fence you are on but it just seems like that whole world of bio engineering is on free play right now, if they can't do it on the land they take a boat a mile out to see and develop stuff out in international waters -- i personally think we are dabbling with the very things that can remove us from the 'living' equation very quickly.

In the meantime, Anand and his team are claiming to already have plans for using the brain model for military research, such as understanding the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder in soldiers

YEAH, OF COURSE YOU ARE. .. .

if not conscious it cant be called Brain........ Rather it should be Bane.

ha! yes. love that.

Igor, I need a brain!

organic matter grown in labs. what could possibly go wrong!

How do they know it's not conscious? That's my question.

it's a good question ;)

Hi @teamhumble, this is so cool project! By the way, it is not the stage of "Product" yet, and also the URL you put is not an official website or e-commerce site. Please post something more "Product" stage with a valid website later :)

Thanks always!

no worries. i knew it was a bit of a stretch tbh, had trouble finding the research pages. thanks for the headsup.
