i have to say i have an unhealthy addiction with all things raspberry pi and especially when it comes to custom HATS and DACS to play with -- volumio is just one of those great open source audio music player projects that comes outta the box support a whole stack of boards.
so if your looking to jack up the audio quality of your music library and want to be free of the confines of windows or mac get yaself a raspberry pi board and setup and make ya own little custom unit for the remaining summer months! :)

Volumio has clearer and more balanced sound, good client GUI, light buffer stream on factory settings, can be used on almost any OS, overall, Volumio is a cool music player, good one!

This is a super cool gadget that you can customize and get your own music player, plus thanks to this small device include a great processor the audio quality that we can enjoy will be very good. Another great thing about this model is that it has managed to increase the rate of wireless transmission in addition to reducing energy consumption.
