Hi, barbecue grilling it might seem easy to do all you can do is putting meat on the grill, but making perfectly cooked is actually a hard and labor-intensive process. Introducing ThermoWorks BlueDOT this thermometer have a little job and that is help us to make that process extremely easier than before. Now ThermoWorks has come out with BlueDOT, BlueDOT is a dot with a Bluetooth enable connection into a smartphone application.

So now you can monitor your dot currently the app is for iPhone you can download the app on the App Store but they're working hard on Android version. The free app also tracks your high and low alarms, your high low temperatures it graphs your temperature over the course of the cook unless you save and download that information to review later.

The BlueDOT with the Bluetooth version of the dot it's pretty cool and it's looks like really easy to get doing turn your Bluetooth on your phone go to the ThermoWorks application and download the ThermoWorks utility app and you just connect it to your phone.

Unit And Cable

If you buy the ThermoWorks BlueDOT you will get the base unit and you get the 4 foot cable with the straight probe you plug the cable into the side of the dot that is very simple. On the front of the dot you've only got two buttons, you got lower the temperature and you got high the temperature.

The Back Of BlueDOT

On the back you got one button the power button right and you got two magnets you can stick this to anything steel.

Probe Stick Into The Meat

Just stick the probe into the meat you get a temperature when you hit your target temperature that you set into to the dot the alarm goes off simple as that.

BlueDOT Smartphone App

If you use the smartphone application you can also set a low temperature for the devices that's something you can't do in the regular dot so you got a high and a low temperature alarm on BlueDOT.

BlueDOT works with all pro series probes it's splash resistant, it's got big digit that are easy to read and you've got a very loud beeper on it's 70 decibels. Bluetooth connection is good for up to 95 feet to your smartphone and the price of the ThermoWorks BlueDOT is $69.00.
