There are a lot of under water drones that are invented to suffice the needs to capture what is under the water but those things limit only on a specific range of where it can go.
For this reason, OSUG was created! Basically, this one was inspired to extend the duration of underwater exploration platforms.
This one is using mostly of
utilized commodity hardware, 3D printed parts and an open-source autopilot to produce a low cost and versatile underwater glider capable of extended missions of up to weeks at a time.

I recently published something similar that is also used for investigative purposes, but it does not go under water, so this robot seems great because it will allow analysis and studies of deeper water and for a longer time.

It's a drone device to understand the state of the environment. It's a bit different from what we know of drones. I think we're just saying that there's this kind of product, rather than putting it on the market.

This is actually the first time I saw a drone in underwater. Most of the drones are used for air purposes, capturing footage above. But with this one @truthsfinder, it surely helps marine life explorations and everything in between. Cool hunt!
