I know you are familiar with motion capture already, but sadly, the price of this is really hard to come up because it is too expensive.
But as the technology grows and the people wanted to support or give an opportunity to everyone, something was made to be free and is available in Chordata's Main Repository.
This application will allow you to capture your moves and everything you do on the stage. It will automatically portray the amazing motion that you give the application!

Choreography is always considered a very tough job as it demands variation. Chordata is a superb and idea to provide the dancer a superb control over the moves. No body needs front or back mirrors when you have Chordata. Automatically portrays the moves one does and even all this without any cost.

I love the fact this is being made available to a wide audience, who wouldn't normally be able to access it. You have to applaud them for that.
I can't see it being used in high-end environments like movies and game development, because they have access to more sophisticated set-ups. But, for the rest of us - this opens up a lot of creative possibilities.
