I was actually talking about this concept with my partner... we're in a new place, we don't know that many people, and it's mostly just families that live around us. We're obviously not looking to date anyone since we have each other, but it's kinda hard to meet new people online.
Impromptme is an app that specialises in making the meeting as easily and as painless as possible... but the reason I'm interested is that they're introducing a blockchain/cryptocurrency element by trying to hook up venues that accept crypto into the meeting mix. Venues could entice users of the Impromptme app to their venue with freebies or discounts (with use of the tokens) - which should increase the probability of people meeting up.
I know it seems like a silly dating-esque app, but networking is incredibly important, especially as people spend more and more time on line and not really connecting face to face. Younger generations totally might struggle with this.

-It is a cool application to enjoy life, meet new people and friends. It is a venue of connecting to people easily and connecting face to face, rather than chatting online.

Apps that is related to meatspace activities fully depends on the Network Effect to be ubiquitously useful. I can understand they are incorporating blockchain and tokens to boost user adoption and retention.

Overall if I'm moving to a big modern city and wants to bootstrap a social network i'll surely be installing this app along with the others.

You can create a profile and then send an invite to date easily if they accepted then all good. ( Even the time and date you can set it there)
Their project according to the about page is aiming to bring the face to face interaction with people which I think is really good. Most interaction now are either through messenger, telegram and even discord no human touch unless you do know the person, personally.
Cons:
Though it is downloadable it only support 2 cities at the moment Prague and London more cities to be covered real soon coming from them.
Since it is still somehow an online dating app we still to be extra careful with the person that we will be dating with.
Overall I think I can give this app a 3/5 because of the following pros and cons.

No its not a silly dating app. I been thinking about such applications should exist for steem/steemit blockchain so that steemians all over the world can easily find and meetup each other easily
