Mythereum
Fantasy Card Game on the Blockchain

Hunter's comment
Mythereum is a battle card game where the last man standing wins.
Each card lives on the Ethereum blockchain and so you build your deck by collecting cards. You can either buy them specifically, buy booster packs or trade for them.
In a battle (2 to 4 players) you can take as many cards as you like, but you must have a minimum of 10 cards. You're then randomly dealt 5 of your cards initially, and at the
start of each turn, you receive 3 random 'Magicks' to activate the special abilities of your Leader Card. You can launch an attack, choose a new leader card or exchange your cards for others in your deck... but you're basically trying to beat your opponent(s) Leader card.
If you lose, your card is thrown out... you lose the battle if you run out of cards or you lose all of your 250 Health Points, whichever comes first.... last player standing wins.
Winning gets your XP and winning the weekly tournaments wins you ETH.
The editions of the games change after a time, and whenever a new 125-card edition is released, the previous edition cards can still be played, but are no longer able to be purchased, you can only get them from another player.
You can currently buy a pack of 7 cards for 0.153 ETH and you'd need at least two packs to start playing... that's a $160 USD barrier to entry... at the time of my hunt there were 13 players online.
That's crazy steep BUUUUUUUT, you'd have a good chance of winning ETH in a tournament with so few players... so it might be worth it. Maybe. Probably not.
