The Cardboard Technologies think it is possible! Introducing the Cardboard Bicycle. Composed of 100% recycled materials and 95% of it is made out of cardboard which is the cheapest material and weighs only 9kg.
The cardboard is treated with a secret mixture that renders it both waterproof and fireproof.
The designer of the cardboard bike believes that it can replace the regular bike because it is cheaper, stronger and ecological.
The Cardboard Bicycle is scheduled for release in the year 2020 and the expected retail price is $59 - $69.

$60 price point is damn cheap!
But isn't 9 kg weight is ultra light? I doubt if it can load up 100-150 kg on it.

You are right, @xyzashu! I doubt it too. I guess it is not for certain people. But, who knows maybe in the future, when they really took over the regular bicycles, for sure they going to invent stronger cardboard bicycles.

I think this is one of the best product from recycled materials that I saw here in SH, The design was not compromise even if it was made on cardboard as it looks really great.
