“Ava, the eBike” is an augmented eBike that aims to support the experiential aspects of cycling. Through this work, we aim to highlight the potential of interactive technology to not only support instrumental, but also experiential aspects of exertion activities

How it works
This eBike interacts with the rider by reading his/her intent.
e.g. if the rider leans forward in an accelerating posture, the bike detects the intent and the engines kicks in and accelerated the bike.

- Four different engines states/sounds as per rider's posture/intent
- Electric LEDs at front that glows if the riders is unstable

Wow smart products like this makes life easy and cool. It is good that it has an electric led that glows when the rider is unstable. The electric led will keep glowing as I ride 'cause am an unstable rider...haha. The next bike to be made should be the bike that stabilize the unstable rider...yeeha!
