the peppergram is an inverted pyramid made from plastic. it doesnt require laser equipments for this to work and it is a DIY product.
The PepperGram projector works because by darkening the room and using a bright 3D video, the 4 sided pyramid made of semi-reflective, semi-transparent material produces several such images so you can view a realistic image at all 360 degrees around. Its super nifty and easy!

To be very honest i haven't seen something like this before, it a mobile which projects the video out side your screen presenting the 3D look, best way to watch the video.

What a cool way device for your cellphone. And I love that it's a DIY product too, so you're not just buying something, you're actually making it. And the best part is that it's also a great product to teach how holography and optics work. It's a really great find.
