Krippenbau - Crib building

Anfang Oktober war der Start des Krippenbaukurs des Krippenverein Wattens. Zuerst waren es pro Woche 2 Abende, aber jetzt zum Schluss von Montag bis Freitag, damit auch alles fertig wurde zur Krippenausstellung.
Ich entschied mich für eine Orientalische Krippe, die 80x60 groß ist. Nun seht Ihr Schritt für Schritt wie die Krippe „gewachsen“ ist.

At the beginning of October, the Wattens Nativity Centre Association started its course on the construction of day nurseries. At first there were 2 evenings per week, but now at the end from Monday to Friday, so that everything was ready for the crib exhibition.
I decided for an Oriental crib, which is 80x60 large. Now you can see step by step how the crib "grew".

Gips für die Mauer - Gypsum for the wall

Krippe wird mit Kalkfarbe ausgemalen -Crib is painted with lime paint

Komplett mit Beize bemalen -Paint all with stain

Beize wird abgewaschen -Stain will be washed off

Krippe wird gefassen (bemalt) - Crib is grasped (painted)

Es war eine tolle Arbeit in einer geselligen Runde von Krippenbauern. Aber ich habe die Arbeit ehrlich gesagt ein bisschen unterschätzt. Jetzt bin ich jedenfalls froh, das alles rechtzeitig fertig geworden ist zur Ausstellung.

It was a great job in a sociable group of crib farmers. But I honestly underestimated the work a bit. Anyway, now I'm glad that everything was ready in time for the exhibition.

Die Krippe ist mein Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Mama, bin gespannt was Sie dazu sagt!
