Thai Yogic Massage

Hello Steemians, as you will see in my profile says “massages” and until now, I have not published anything about it. Today I am going to show you the type of massage that I apply and that was taught to me by Master Vladimir Gil.
The Thai Yogic Massage (Nuad Bo'Rarn in its original language and which we will abbreviate as MYT) is one of the healing practices used by Traditional Thai Medicine and is totally different to what we consider as massages in the West and is really a holistic therapy.
This therapy has been known for more than 3000 years and amalgamates healing practices of Thai indigenous tribes, Chinese elements (energy lines, acupressure and chiropractic) and Indians (hatha yoga, ayurveda, reflexology and Buddhist meditation).
The MYT seeks to unblock energy channels or lines, which for Orientals is what allows healing. This unlocking process is achieved by applying pressure along these lines either with the thumbs or with the "bottom" of the hands.
A session begins with the practitioner interviewing the client, both fully clothed and both their physical and mental state and also the reasons why they are seeking professional help are consulted, as well as if they suffer any condition that limits some of the sequences of the MYT. Afterwards, the client is asked to enter into a meditative state giving him/her some simple instructions and then the different positions are made. It ends with a thank you to the Masters who have brought knowledge from generation to generation and to the client becoming more than ninety percent totally relaxed (almost always asleep).
This therapy is recommended for stressed people, with insomnia, anxiety, muscle aches, neck pain, and back pain, among others.
In my experience as a client and as a practitioner, it is highly beneficial and gives the satisfaction of being able to help.
Here I leave some pictures of the course:
