I will probably not go on my own search again - that was a big time waster and ego deflator at the time. I'm old, on the road with little money, and do not have great health. The "least expecting it" option will be what happens if it does, I think :)

I'm already on a plan. The health issues I deal with are autoimmune disease and a genetic heart condition. So - I have trouble walking and gripping door handles, for example.
I eat the aip/paleo way, do detoxing, and exercise daily among other healthy habits. I lost my weight 6 years ago and pretty much stay to that path. But the illness don't completely heal even though they are 1000% improved.
Also I'm in Thailand so I'm not really getting things mailed in :)

It's weird how 1/2 the steemers recommend fruit to me and the other half are getting cleansed from candida!
I eat mostly carnivore and greens and feel pretty healthy. This is an anti-inflammatory diet that helps my arthritis pain tremendously. If I went to a fruit based diet, I would be balled up in pain for sure. The fruit I do eat (not much) is the "non-sweet" type :)
What do you get for protein on this plan?

All fruits have these same amino acids with out the discharge of bad acids(acidosis) into the blood stream.

For me - most fruit equals inflammation. I eat jackfruit and some tiny apples here and that seems to do well. But I'm on a serving or less per day. I eat probably 8 servings of veggies and then protein and fat. This keeps the nodules and pain down compared to other options I've tried.
It's called AIP and works for a lot of people with auto-immune disease. We've been messed up and our soft tissue is mush. So for me - bone broth, collagen and gelatin are quick relief along with exercise and a lot of napping.
