Human health will cost about $ 400 billion globally

The World Health Organization (WHO) warned Monday that achieving global life-saving goals by 2030 could require investments from donors and governments of around $ 58 per capita per year or $ 371 billion a year.

If investment increases, it is possible to prevent the premature death of some 97 million people between now and 2030, as well as an 8.4-year life expectancy increase in some countries, the FAO report said.

The poorest countries need donors to donate, although most countries are able to raise the necessary funds.

The United Nations adopted the goals of sustainable development in 2015 as the list of tasks that the world must accomplish in the next 15 years. It includes 17 goals and 169 achievements aimed at establishing a healthier, safer and more equitable world.

"Global health coverage is ultimately a political choice, it is a responsibility that every country and every national government has to bear," said Dras Radhasas, director general of the region, in a statement issued after the report.
