What Are You Thankful For Today? (June 17) - a Healthy STEEM Distribution Activity

This may or may not fit here, but.....

I keep a set of sharpies & sticky notes in my bathroom drawer. Every morning as I brush my teeth, do my hair, pick my nose, ect...I think of what I'm thankful for, and stick a note to the mirror! As I read these notes, I think deeply about them and do my best to internalize them.

  1. I'm thankful for my amazing support system of family and friends.

  2. I'm thankful for my ability to persist in the hardest of times...... **I'M NOT A QUITTER! **
(if your going through hell this helps you focus on your strengths rather than dwell in the gloom.)

  3. I'm thankful I can see, walk, & hear Life's beautiful!

  4. That I've experienced love, when many people won't ever get the chance.

  5. Thankful I've also lost love so I know the pain wont last forever.

    **ANYTHING! **

(Those are a few I have put up) New ideas and thoughts will randomly pop up in your head, so write those down to. The more you do the easier it gets, and it greatly improves your daily mindset.

~To think that here in America, I dont have the daily fear that my family will be murdered or my apartment complex will be hit by a chemical Bomb like what's overseas.~

Most people get to caught up in their current state of unhappiness by focusing on what they aren't thankful for (I don't wanna go to work today).... This is the process I use to I overcame that bad habit!

I hope I contributed a little ☺

ps-im new to steemit, and could use some help gathering a following. I'm currently working on a few posts, and love to photograph and share nature and landscape photography @tossup46

You have a great way of keeping your thought's fresh in your mind,I think I will try that.

I've always thought this would be a good exercise for teachers to give their students during November/Thanksgiving...... Of course they'd need pare talk help..... But it would be a good assignment
