Hi Steemlers,
I am new to Steemit and pretty excited about this new platform.
Just a quick idea that i think it would be better if Steemit categorize posts by region, country...Don't you think so?
I know English is the most common, but, to be able to write a good content in English is not for everyone.
And also it would be more beneficial and comprehensive for people if they write/read on their own language.
Just my thought. Thank you and nice to see all of you :)

I agree it would better encourage the flow of ideas, if your first language is not English, to write in your own language. Perhaps this could lead to some kind of translation facility. I would be happy for, say, an Italian person to write in Italian and I'll translate it or have it translated. I would say though that perhaps the title could be in both the author's native language and in English so that I would recognise the topic and know that it's something I'd like to read.
