The Mistake I Made On Steemit And How You Can learn

I am going to talk about the one mistake I made on Steemit and how you can learn, if you are new on here, you should also listen up.

I made the mistake of powering down my Steem Power. I wanted to do some mini holiday shopping last year, so I powered down my Steem Power so I can, however, those plans failed when my mom wanted me to put it towards getting my hair done. I also powered down the remaining half when I thought I was going to be attending a family reunion until life decided I didn't deserve to have fun and the plan fell through. Also, Steemit stopped paying out users if you had less than 3 cents and didn't tell anyone ( at least I didn't know) therefore that was also money I was losing, so I had to use Dustsweeper so I won't lose that money. I was earning more around the time I joined, but the people who had enough steem power disappeared.

Hoping that Steemit can be my job.

The mistake was powering down my SP while it was small. Had I saved it, at this point, my upvotes would have been worth more. If a post I worked hard on went unnoticed, I would have had enough to upvote myself.

I learned to wait until I hit the thousands in my SP before powering down. Now that I learned the error of my ways, I will not power down too soon. Steemit could have been a part-time job at least if I had of waited and let my SP build up. Also, I would have gotten more in curation rewards if my upvotes were worth more.

Lesson learned, if you are new, let your SP build up first. Let it hit the thousands before you power down. Don't let it power down to the point where your upvotes are worthless.
