Hello everyone! as we all know this great community is one of the fast growing community right now with newbies coming in everyday with lots of questions.
So today i toke it upon my self to enlighten them more on the basics of formatting text.

If you're a whale then this post is not for you, but you can resteem, comment and upvote...LOL

being a beginner comes with a lot of challenges, because seeing a whales post you'll be wondering how it is possible to do an type such text.

So am going to work you through some of the basic tools. But first you must understand the meaning of markdown syntax

Markdown syntax:
Markdown is a language that is used by web developers to edit an simplify workflow. It was created by John Gruber.

Lets begin.

Header
To format you header to your desired size use # before your text, {it ranges from 1-6}
you can add 1 # or 6# tags depending on the size that you want.

Italic fonts
To get an italic format all you need to do is add *before an after your text or add _before an after your text.

Bold format
To get you text in a bold format just add **before an after your text.

Link
to add a link to your post put your text inside this [] e.g image source an put your image link inside this ().

Picture
To add a picture just copy an past the picture address

Text slider
Just put 4 spaces before the text to make it slide.

Quote
To add a quote use > before your text
