Please Help! Trying to mine

Hey everyone!

I am trying to understand how to mine steem, but cannot get the blockchain to sync. I used the following guide https://steemit.com/steem/@bitcube/steem-mining-in-microsoft-windows-a-miner-s-guide-part-2 but it wont work. Can anyone help me please? It continuously says the head_block_age is 67 weeks old?

I know that only 1% of steem is given to miners and therefore isnt really profitable, but I am not doing it for the money but for the learning experience.

    There is no mining. Steem switched to full DPOS months ago.
