[steemit] The Good, the Bad and the Ugly .. an aquatic marine platform where dolphins are consumed by whales and small fish are most at risk of extinction .

in steemit •  8 years ago  (edited)

Steem is a blockchain-based social media platform where anyone can eat small fish

Join the the natural interconnection of food chain , what-eats-what in an relative species abundance distribution

Species at the bottom of the food chain, such as small fish and other abundant organisms , are consumed for biological resources .

higher up in the food chain whales richness and dolphins diversity having long life spans with optimal environmental conditions , At the same time small fish is at risk of extinction .

Steemit needs Rewards revamp

I propose a reward limit consumption algorithm for post that already have high pending payout .

To Be Continued.....

Yes if people come here expecting to get rich and don't earn and play the game they will leave.

Oh the horror... the horror! /s

I do not think we need a rewards revamp, the dolphins and whales got to where they are at by mostly investing in the platform. They either invested real money or coin or spent time curating and sharing the wealth with great content.

i get your point but , i think the Steemit Rewards is a way to low . ... a revamp on the system is not bad think .

Even small amounts as these have earned a reward. The fish looks cooool

Your analogy implies that Steemit created a platform with scarce value ('dolphins being eaten', 'minnows going extinct') ...

If people stop writing, the value will be scarce. As long as people continue to create content, value will continue to be created.

The only ones starving are the ones who stop writing and go away.

i have read the white paper , the voting process is based on lottery like Zipf's functions ..
The only ones starving are the ones who keep writing and get 000000000.1 Rewards
