So anyways, @yabapmatt is a steemian who created steembottracker https;//steembottracker.com (And you can upvote him as a witness if you wan't to support his work here on Steem https://steemitcom/~witnesses and also vote for @jesta @fyrstwitness @neoxian ) So this @steembottracker tool is a great visualization & Graphic User Interface (GUI) of a whole list of most profitable Upvote Bots. An Upvote Bot is a steem account that let's people send it SBD or Steem with the steemit link in the memo and they just sell their upvotes. Many are upset with this, and some have even drafted up some new self regulations for steem, to stop abuse of these tools and free up trending for more "organically" upvoted content. We should be shown when a post has used Upvote bots, AND we should be allowed to turn OFF those advertised posts, that is OUR FUCKING RIGHT and we will DO it with our OWN chrome browser extension so don't you DARE argue against the idea that we shouldn't;t ALLOW users to TURN OFF the paid posts that used upvote bots for 51% of their posts! That is OUR RIGHT & even if steemit icn doesn't do it, we will use our OWN front ends, apps AND use our own CHROME extensions like @armandocat 's Steemit Plus or Steemit Extra Info extension! THIS is the answer, we can IDENTIFY these posts and cut them out from our OWN browser!

I have wondered sometimes, how posts with less value are trending then I dug deeper. Only to find out that they actually use more that 8 upvote bots to increase their earnings and others paid for Post promotion. I hardly visit trending post because I know 95% of them didn't genuinely earn their way up there.

I have been trying for some time to gather info on how those guys you just mentioned mange to get on trending and how come they get such huge Upvoted but its alot clearer now. There is one thing though ; I can't login steemconnect. Is it my Steemit password I am supposed to use or create another.
Personally I think it's cheating and it's not fair and it does not give room for recognition to be given to post that is worth it. Most of them post shit and get bot to Upvote.

for steemconnect I do remember having to use owner key, due to the way steemconnect works
But some people are telling me you can just use posting kley or active key for steemconnect,m but for THJIS yes you MUST use activekey for this service because it spends money with you
don't use your oewner key ever,
if youa re loigging in with your owner keyk the original key youf irst got,mm that's VERY bad, you are breaking rules of cyber security and you MUSt only use POSTING KEY to login to post and ACTIVEKEY for mmaking transactions, because even if someoen gets you are active key you can change you are password with owner key but fi someoen eksy owner jey they can lock you out and I don't like helping people whyo loose all the steempower iu tried to help trhem recover
so make sure you also don't fall for patrhetic phishing scams where it tells you that you can get some free steem or osmething too good to be true telling you to logi to some phishing site
you should have google chrome remember passwords like posting key so you can KNOW if you are on a phishing FAKE steemit site, you wouldn't have to login if you are already logged in most of the time, don't ever login twice even if it looks lie ksteemit, be CAREFUl of the phishing websites

its fine, bots are good, these bid bots are just one sort of bot, and they are fine too they just need rules and self regulation like not allowing the same people to just take over trending day after day, because honestly its the free market and for example you can't just let one guy hog the entire lake because ye has a GIANT boat that takes it all up no we make ruels and we just kick that guy out so he doenst take upo our whoel lakje, or sle we all loose, and its free market too! BADGES we just need to differnmtiane posts thata re only on trnding because of upvote bot use and allow users to HIDE thoseposts if they choose! We should not force people to look at ads on steemit, give users the option toi shut those promoted posts off fronm their OWN fuckin browser whichis OUR RIGHT do NOT argue this point, and then see how long people want to pay for upvote bots for ALL their upvotes, YOU need to use upvotre bots to BOOST you are post, then let organic upvotes come in! But when like 90%+ of you are money on a post comes from upvote bots its just lame, its like, what happens when fraudulwnt scam ICOS do this and "Advertise" on our trending page in the free for all that it is? It has hhappened befroe and shitty ICOS scam steemians and it makes steem hlook bad for PAYING people to SCAM< us!

Heck yeah! If steemit doesn't want to do that, let the developers in the house do. Not only will it filter posts, am sure some other creative people will get to have the spot light as well. And if possible, the extension can show in two colours, the percentage coming from organic upvotes and the ones coming from bots
