Last night Steem decided to pump all the way to $0.51. It was amazing to see and just the tonic we all needed. It was triggered by a huge and somewhat unexpected trade volume which saw a staggering 1000% increase in volume. Someone was buying up big last night and we were enjoying every second of it!
Unfortunately the price hike hasn't lasted too long but nonetheless right now Steem is trading at $0.44, which represents a 13% increase from the previous day. Who knows how long it will stay at this price but let's just hope it's for a while.

@acom we wi definitely see a 1$ mark in the near future yesterday spike means someone just bought 400000 steem from the exchange and then the price drop means it's kind of long term investment.
