Two weeks in--What lies ahead?

It’s been two weeks since joining Steemit and so far, I’ve been happy with my growth so far. It’s even more satisfying not just seeing engagement on your own posts, but being part of the engagement process itself.

Some people have asked me how they could level up and grow. Mind you, the results are not typical. Some people will gain more followers in less time than others.

You can still grow a decent sized following just by posting and engaging consistently. Your posts should be valuable and have great quality.

Plus, your content doesn’t always have to be writing. You can do a quick video using just your smart phone and spill out what’s on your mind.

I’ll do a more extensive write-up on creating video content in the not so distant future. But without further ado, here are some things coming down the Steemit pipeline in the future:

1. A Write Up On My 30 Day Early Riser Challenge

At the beginning of the month, I decided to finally restart forming the habit of waking up early. I tend to be more productive in the mornings.

This was something of a “screw it, let’s do it” moment after trying and failing many times performing this same task. As of this writing, I have been up before 6AM for 27 days.

The write up will give you valuable advice on how you too can sleep great and be able to wake up early without depending on the snooze button.

2. List of Musical Things

If there’s one thing I failed to disclose in my introduction was my love for old school music. When I was a radio personality in college, I would play retro tunes from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

I probably am not the only one who likes the awesome sounds of AC/DC, U2, The Police, etc. So some of the lists to expect are the following (Note: These are working titles):

--My favorite 80s songs from each year (1980-1989)

--Top one hit wonders

--Top cover songs that sound better than the original

This is just a sampling of what’s in store for my fellow Steemians who are fans of the old school tunes. If there’s one thing we all love to go on, is a trip back in time without a DeLorean.

Where we're going, you don't need one of these. (Via Wikimedia)

Pour Conclure

It has been a great ride so far. Never have I been excited to be a part of a growing platform that has the potential to kick so much ass.

As I’m closing in on 300, I want to thank those who have stuck it out so far. Your appreciation for my tomfoolery and random thoughts are what fuels my Steemit fire.

In the words of Gary Vaynerchuk, your comments are my oxygen.
