Hello Fellow Steemians,

Post Title: How To Grow With STEEM & Technique To Boost Your Reputation Score

FACTS:

I joined Steemit early this month, month of July. So far I have gained some understand and knowledge on how Steemit works and I have developed my own technique and style of marketing into my writing and postings. I have gained over 500+ followers in as little as a month, my goal is to reach 1,000 follower by my birthday, which is August 27th. I know I can do it, and I believe with these techniques and tips I am going to show you, you will be able to reach high heights as well.

I am going to be straight to the point and not waste anyones time.

TECHNIQUE #1: REPLY TO YOUR REPLIES
It is a common practice for one to reply to their replies. When you receive an important email, you reply to it as soon as possible. This you should also do with replies on your Steemit posts.

TIP #1: Reply to everyone, anyone and bots as well!

TECHNIQUE #2: BE ACTIVE
Okay this means a lot, not just be active, logging on and browsing the site. Be active means, commenting, replying, following, upvoting, resteeeming and also posting your own work. Once you increase your engagement on Steemit, you will gain more exposure on the steemit platform.

Download Discord Chat Join some channels and groups and network with other Steemit users from all over the world.

TIP #2: Tag those users you met on Discord Chat on some of your posts.

TECHNIQUE #3: LEAVE ENGAGING COMMENTS AND REPLIES
I know you hate when some one leave you a “one word” or “two words” comments on your post, my thoughts are usually, “really?”. Sometimes I get people who didn’t even read my post and will just comment some bullshit or non-related facts on my post. Anyways it does not take long for you to leave a legitimate and engaging replies on your fellow steamians posts.

You can also use images and videos as replies - make it interesting and demand a reply from the author!

TIP #3: “Great Post” “Nice” “Awesome” “Followed You” “UpVoted” these are not replies or comments that will get you the results you desire and seek on Steemit.

TECHNIQUE #4: FINDING WHALES & POWER UPVOTES
Now as many of you may know, it doesn’t not matter how many people upvote your post, but what matters is who the upvotes come from! Now find you a Whale friend - There are many ways to get whales to post on your posts, below I will list you some active whales and you should follow them and comment and reply to their posts.

TIP #4: Don’t Beg - Asking is okay, if done correctly and politely. Now I don’t mean for you to follow these people and ask for up votes, if you create something that is genuine, attractive and informative, believe me, you will get the upvotes you deserve.

TECHNIQUE #5: FOLLOW EVERYONE WHO FOLLOWS YOU
So my technique #5 and my last one for this post is to follow everyone who follows you. As you check my blog page @afrikanprince you will notice that the number of people I am following is greater than of those people following me. This is will always be the case because I intend to follow everyone who follows me and plus more!

TIP #5: Don’t unfollow the people who made you grow! I do not unfollow anyone, I keep following more and more people so I can be able meet more people from all over the world. I also think the more Followers you have, the more STEEM POWER you would have, but I have seen some people on steemit with 0 following and lots of uprooting power. Everyone has their own way.

If you are like me, you have been spending lots of hours on Steemit and you have posted a few posts, left some comments and relies, followed a bunch of people and still no improvement. Don’t worry, experiment with all your posts to see what style gets the most attention and views. See what works and use it, what works for one man, may not work for another.

**TIP #6: Share your posts on your twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts.

Great advice. I went through the list of Whales and notice they don't seem to post very often, making it hard to engage on their posts.

I really like your stance on not unfollowing people you started following from the beginning as I see a lot of people with thousands of followers but relatively few people they are following back

Followed for more tips like the above.

Thanks for your comment! Yea, its good to keep your followers and following. Some of those whales I notices only resteem other peoples post and do not post their own content. I followed you back as well :-)
