Absolutely. And by that what you describe steem could create huge oppurtunities for low developed areas.

Imagine a creative somewhere in a poor village, earning money on steem and investing it directly into the development of his environment. Great prospect!

    Very good point. I know there are so many great painters in rural areas of India and China who never get any exposure at all. Steemit could make a difference there!
