Hello everyone, month old user here and loving the community. Just wanted to propose some ideas I thought would improve the system. The first is regarding the 7 day limit, and the other is about followers.

I do agree with the 7 day limit, the argument is that without it popular posts may forever drain the voting pool leaving new content with little. I propose a change in the website for this. After 7 days are up the vote button becomes a tip button, this way posts can still make money without draining the voting pool. I know we can just go through the regular method, but me and probably alot more people would use it if it was quicker to do.

The second idea was to avoid spamming followers. I have gotten into the unfortunate habbit of only following @resteembot when I need it. I know it's pretty greedy, but it can spam up my feed. It would be nice if as a follower you could see the tags the user uses and pick which ones you want to see.

Recently I have gotten involved into some of the contests hosted here, even planning to run one of my own. It would be nice if the people who follow me for my philosophy posts could opt out of getting those if they wanted to. Re-steems would be much less annoying aswell.

I havent used any witness votes yet, but if your a witness and support these ideas you have my vote. Not totally sure how things get done, but I know it involves you guys.
