This was an awesome experience, and if you love food, fishing, or fish in general, this is right up your alley. Today, we went to the Asian market and they had a show where they were filleting a bluefin tuna and giving free sashimi samples to the crowd. My dad said it was the best fish or sashimi he has ever had.
This bluefin tuna was freshly caught off of the coast of California and was brought in a day ago, and is being filleted today. The meat was soft and tender, and not fishy at all! The meat melts in your mouth when you eat it. It was an awesome experience.

That was probably the freshest fish me and my family has ever had. It was very delicious. And if you don't have the opportunity to eat a fish this fresh, go on a charter boat that fishes for bluefin tuna or yellow tail and catch yourself one and eat it (which is probably even better).
And the crazy part is, the meat isn't even fishy! And it melts right in your mouth.
That's a form of Heaven for some, right there!
