I mean come on guys...I'm started to get annoyed. Like for real, I have posts that were making a good amount of money, and by the time it cashes out, the amount I had before has been reduced by over 50%. Thats jacked.
I think updating the system is a great thing, but I feel like i'm getting robbed. I make posts that make pretty much nothing as it is, and they are just going to make the little amount I make even smaller?!?! I mean come on...!
I don't know about you guys, but I think this new update is hurting minnows badly. And the thing is, the steemit pool would be wider if the distribution of wealth wasn't so bad. We have people with all of the money on steemit, then we have the people who aren't making jack, like me currently.
Steemit pool
The steemit pool is getting smaller and smaller. We are having more and more people joining steemit, more and more whales gaining money by the minute and the distrubution of wealth is soooo uneven. And the amounts of steempower delegated is so uneven.
I don't know, I think the steemit pool is small as hell for the number of people on steemit. We need people to invest in steemit and make that pool bigger so the distrubution of wealth is more fair and even.
All of the whales and dolphins are getting the wealth while the minnows can barely climb the ladder of steemit.
Uneven distribution...UUUUGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHAHAHAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Steemit's future
I don't really know where steemit is headed. Hoenstly, the new updates and wealth distrubtion is concerning to me about the future of steemit. I hope steemit lasts.
Is steemit RIGGED?!?!
I don't know, some people think that steemit might be more partial to certain people. Like people are more likely to get whale upvotes. Or, their posts are displayed better than others or the distribution is partial to certain people.
My personal take, Of course it's possible, but I don't think this is true. I think the people like the whales and the dolphins have the power on here because the control the wealth and where it goes, but I don't think steemit itself is partial towards certain people.
What's your voting been like recently? I noticed the same thing myself losing like 30% of my payout when I was voting maybe 3-5 times a day. I adjusted and now trying to do 20-30 and its stabilized it. I am only losing maybe 5-10% now.

So, the more you vote the less you lose or the less you vote the less you lose?

My recommendation is keep doing what you are doing writing content and commenting and just change the amount of votes you do per day and watch the results. Hope this helps buddy

Well i did some research and I guess the algorithm rewards Steemit users who contribute to the rewards pool. So voting does that. That 5-10% I am losing is the drain from the rewards pool. But literally saved me because I was feeling the same exact way you are right now.

Thanks for this post! I agree that our post shouldn't be reduced 50 % before its pay out, Its looks like something is wrong.

Great post man,
I hope steemit isn't rigged, I just got here and am putting in a lot of work in to writing about the stuff I like.
I thought it's because I'm new that I haven't had much interaction with my posts. but now I'm seeing that you need to be seen by these whales to get your posts noticed!

People are losing motivating to continue being active on steemit. I started about a week ago and have already lost $20 of the upvotes I was getting.
It is just frustrating to see that.
Like a punch in the face. I have no idea how to contact steem support, but I don't think they will change anything soon.
To make it fair, steem has to support the new users. That way the amount of people using steemit will increase.

Don't get frustrated I've been here for 11 months and I haven't made much, I'm still here though, and just so you know in March Steem was at 0.08 cents so I was making maybe 5 cents per post now I make at least $2.00 per post of course the amount is tending to decline by the time the seven days go by still I'm making way more than before, which is why I am much more active now.

It really depends on your followers. At the beginnkg upvotes weren't so precious so anyone upvoted anyone else. But now, people hoard those clicks like they were nuts! You may not be worth the upvote from your following - that's what I've found from my blog
