Tourism in the Americas

Tourism in the Americas is constantly increasing. Since the 1990s, the number of international tourist arrivals has increased from 92.8 million visitors to 149.8 million in 2010. In the Americas1, international tourist arrivals in 2010 accounted for 16% of those worldwide . At the revenue level, this contributed 182 billion to the Americas, a percentage of 20% of the world. The regions concerned by the Americas are North America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
