Steemit Chat is actually a very great tool to use in order to interact with your fellow Steemians. Especially since there's no way to directly message anyone on Steemit except through comments! Discord is another great and newer tool and has a variety of channels for Steemians to engage in and meet new and interesting folks as well as promote their posts!
I'll definitely start using Steemit chat a lot more often now that I've started writing fiction and discovered just yesterday that it has a fiction trail! Thanks for the heads up Alla and I'll see you there too! Cheers!

Hi Alla - Thanks for this nice video. Unfortunately, I am getting some issues where steemit chat is very slow sometimes and freezes. I believe there have been some server issues. Hopefully they have been fixed. Will try and say hi there (and apply for that job we were discussing. LOL :)

I also like your overall message of encouraging new people and being welcoming to those that add value to Steemit in general. I try to upvote content that I think is useful and interesting, and it makes sense to encourage that over more "throw away" kind of posts.
