Hello my Stoodies! I have been getting so many messages and questions about everything regarding on "how to" on Steemit. As some of you are my new followers, you might have missed my Steemit Lessons.
I decided to put all the lessons in one post ( all the work I have done over the months ). This way when you join, you can send this to all the newbies, beginners - or if you have missed any of these - its a good place to start and learn some basics and I give you my best tips!!!

Dear Alla - Thank you that was a very interesting and attractive series of posts and I learnt something new in every one of them. I like the way you point out what to do and what NOT to do. I am hoping that one day there will be a specific area on steemit that has ful instructions in order, because the amount of information is immense to try and trawl through. Frankly I am a writer so love just to write, it's a nice idea that I can gain votes by what I write and how often, but I only have a limited amount of time. I write what I like and that's a real freedom, have lots up my sleeve(I have written many screenplays) and for an older person (who thinks young) I think I have a lot to offer, if only I can get them to listen. I vote on posts that interest me, or those that I think are good and I mean that in a positive way, if they promote good behaviour. I like the freedom of some of the posts, so far nobody seems to have crossed a line taste wise, and if they did I would flag it. I am fairly broad minded as I grew up in 60's London and have a background in fashion, publishing, shipping, travel writing and all sorts of other things. I like food a lot as I am married to a (retired) professional chef and try to enjoy life to the full. I like your enthusiasm and will follow your food blogs as they sound interesting. Keep up the good work, I am not interested in making money per se, only if I am worthy of it. Kind regards JV

The post I found the most helpful was #7, which talked about how to get noticed on Steemit! I've been on this platform for 3 months and it has been a rollercoaster to say the least haha. I'm happy to say that I finally found my niche and have a handful of really supportive friends, who have helped me develop into a decent blogger!
I feel like i'm ready to take that next step and set my goal of reaching Rep 60, which would mean I would have to do something big to get noticed! What I took from your video was that I wasn't treating Steemit like a community and was just focused on pumping out content. I've been in deep thought about how I can efficiently give back, while still being consistent with posting, and will probably post about it whenever I figure out the answer haha I felt like your post pushed me in the right direction so thank you!

Very efficient having all the videos in one place to peruse, @allasyummyfood. I just watched a few of them. I think the issue with people expecting to earn so quickly from the platform is partly due to that reason being the first thing that entices them "social platform that pays for content." Not always the case, but some common sense dictates exactly what you talk about in the videos about providing valuable content and feedback.
