ETH TOWN Presale is Live | What You Need To Know

During the build-up to the launch of the presale, Eth Town Discord members had a little fun of their own while waiting to buy up all the Level 9 heroes they could afford and maybe get their own stake in the DAO hacker floor that's on auction at the moment. The launch of the presale was among the top anticipated crypto game launches I've seen in a moment. I've come across quite a number of badly executed games.

Eth Town I would say sits among the top (and this is during the presale) and I would say has the potential during game launch to hold the crown. On5 Games Development Studio artists did a great job with the heroes (in-game characters) and the overall aesthetic of the platform. Developers did a great job too with ensuring that interested parties had a swift time on the platform buying up heroes.

So let me describe more of what the guys over at On5 have revealed.

The real estate business. Requires skill, wit, and overall bullish nature to acquire as many profitable assets as possible. In Eth Town, your skills are determined by your heroes who've been referred to as "skilled assistants." All of them have skills and their stat sheet determines how aggressive and witty your gameplay will be. The devs also mentioned that your heroes do provide all kinds of bonuses depending on the case and increased profit on closing deals.

The main assets that the game revolves around will be Investor Tokens, Heroes & Crypto-Tower Floors.

As described in my older, more in-depth post about Eth Town, the crypto-tower is a virtual asset owned by players consisting of apartments and offices with some being set up with absolutely crazy features whereas the others have been set up as the typical business place teaming with activity. Players will have to abide by rules pre-conditioned on each floor with variants such as bonuses and profit structure set in stone from the beginning and as the guys at On5 say, with a few extra funky twists added in for fun.

The Eth Town presale has been shrouded in active participation and in my books, all the signs of a successful presale are in play. The presale saw more than 345 Level 9 heroes sold with more being purchased every hour. When I first visited the site at the very beginning of the presale, Level 9 heroes were going for around 0.1Ether with the current price sitting at 0.226Ether less than 24 hours into the presale. The presale is set to run for about 20 more days until completion upon which players will be set to wait for the full game launch at the beginning of April.

There was a mention of a special gene in the game up for "grabs" depending on your purchase called the "Dice-gene." The dice gene draw can only be entered if you purchase more than three heroes and you stand the chance to win the dice gene for one of your characters. The dice gene from what I understand is being considered a very rare trait and from what I understand only 3 characters will receive this gene with the fourth character being Satoshi Nakamoto, in honest tribute to the pioneer of blockchain technology.

Level 15 heroes.

The Level 15 heroes available in the game are actively on auction at the moment. Currently, any individual can create a Level 15 hero by putting together 64 Level 9 heroes and some of their valuable time. For 64 Level-9 heroes, you would be looking at 0.22Ether * 64 which totals at 14Ether based on current marketplace prices. The Level 15 heroes compared to that price are a bargain to bid on. They are represented at 1.6Ether and 2.1Ether respectively.

I mentioned the DAO hacker floor earlier in this post and its the epitome representation of potential for Eth Town. The DAO Hacker Crowdsale has a limit of 100Ether with 44.2%(44Ether) already auctioned off to active virtual asset investors looking to get their hands on the floor. The floor auction is set up to give players an opportunity to have a stake in the floor system with the added bonus that upon game launch the spent Ether is returned to the players with a profit on top. For this reason, the auction is limited to 1Ether per person and the devs are thinking of dropping that number down to 0.5Ether per player to increase the number of participants because evidently, they care about giving a larger share of people the opportunity to participate rather than just a few in-game whales who would have the potential to disrupt the overall success of the game.
