Sylvester Stallone
Sylvester Stallone is the whole legend in Hollywood, In total, already 40 years have happened since Rocky was throwing it to the stardom. But before touching the sky, Sylvester Stallone suffered, and much, a hollow to be done in the cinema.
In 1975, with little more than hundred dollars in the bank and married Sasha Czach, it was accustomed to being rejected by the agencies of cásting. His dream was to be an actor of first and did not want to devote to anything any more, in spite of that his wife was insisting on looking for a stable trade. His more faithful friend was his dog Butkus, a bullmastiff to which scarcely it could feed. When the things put really badly and Stallone managed to steal even the jewels of his wife to sell them, did not have any more remedy than undo of his pet. It went away to a shop of liquors and a stranger offered him 25 dollars, a scanty money that he accepted to the desperate one. Stallone has assured in more than one occasion that this was one of the worst days of his life and that left of the place between tears.
Two weeks later, Stallone came to see a combat between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner in Ohio. Wepner, nicknamed The Sangrador de Bayonne, was a 37-year-old boxer, without any important title to his backs and in the west of his career, which resisted up to the fifteenth and final assault leaving all the assistants with the opened mouth. The umpire gave the victory to Ali for technical KO, but the moral winner of her fights he was really Chuck, who had the opportunity to demonstrate to the world that a 'loser' like he could take to the canvas the best considered boxer of all the times. This exploit inspired the actor to write the personage of Rocky.
The script had it ready in little more than twenty hours, without scarcely dedicating him time to the dream. This way there was born the history of the famous "The Italian Stallion". The following step was to sell the libretto. After puncturing some doors without success, the producers Irwin Winkler and Robert Chartoff saw potential in Stallone's words and 125.000 dollars offered him for his history, a not contemptible at all seen quantity his precarious economic situation. Nevertheless, Sly wanted to lead at any expense the movie and he did not move backward in his determination for obtaining it. The producers managed to shuffle even the number of 350.000 dollars for the text, but they did not want to hear speaking about the possibility of considering Stallone to be Rocky. They preferred names of weight as those of Robert Redford or Ryan O'Neill, real stars of the epoch. The stubbornness of the actor did not give to them truce and ultimately they agreed to give him the principal paper in exchange for paying to him only 35.000 dollars for his script.
With the cash in the hand and the spirits to ceiling for having more nearby that his dream, the first thing that Stallone did was never to try to recover again his darling Butkus. It returned to the shop of liquors and hoped three days that there was appearing the man whom the khan had sold at a loss. It explained to him the motives for which it had parted with him and asked him that it should resell. To the individual the heart was not softened after listening to the emotive statement. Rather everything opposite. He refused in roundly and did not give up to the animal until Stallone him put on the hand 15.000 dollars. Undoubtedly, a type that could do business. And happy Sylvester - in spite of to spending one more than generous sum - for having of turned again his dog.
Butkus also had his minutes of glory both in Rocky and in Rocky II, practising of pet of the boxer (in the credit titles it appears as Butkus Stallone).
The rest of his history already you know her.
